Okies, i’ve got shit loads of projs to do so it’ll be chop chop…a little pew pew here and a little pew pew there , gravelpit overtime….then a little more pew pew here and a little more pew pew there , v.co win by a difference of 4mins+ in overtime.

Map : Granary 4-0 (Win to v.co)

Scout action all the way, with Aww.Dennis’ rotation policy failing. GG.

 Highlights of the match : Aww.Ken excuses 101 : My comp dam lag , My keyboard change , My mouse change , I cannot play on dustbowl , My mouse sensitivity too high, and today’s all new excuse : My sniper got 39 points , i play it too much my scout rusty liao….. WTF DIDI

Match – Invicta

Okies..its another night with scrim! and our opponents are Invicta!

Match was slated to begin at 10, then 10.30, then finally at 12. While waiting for Invicta’s last member to fix his connection issues, Aww.Pauly and Aww.Dennis got pawned by their gfs, where Paul had to send gf home and Dennis had to go macdonalds for supper with gf, Life > tf2. In the end, match began at 1am after Dennis rushed home. Invicta team consists of 5 Invicta members with 1 sub ( Aur.Cookies).

Map : Dustbowl

Score : 6-6 (Overtime win to Aww by 1-2 mins)

Ok, its our worst map. Things started out brightly though as Aww managed to squeeze some time out of invicta at part2,cp2 while playing defence,however the supposedly impenetrable defence got owned by Inv’s well coordinated attacks in the end when Aww.Gary’s debut hw guy got shot in the head whilst standing on the CP sadface. Despite Aww’s best efforts, Invicta managed to cap all 6 points in the end.  Aww’s attack was fast and swift until map 3, last cp. It took Aww almost 10-12 mins before finally capping the last point to force the game into overtime. Heroics by Aur.cookies and Inv’s sniper forced Aww to be trapped in the alleyways most of the time as Aww struggled to wade through the spam. This results in heightened tensions on teamspeak with Aww.Pauly in his best form – whining, screaming and shouting at everyone and everything except himself (duh). Somehow the negative influence spread to the rest of the team with everyone in a foul mood. Thx paul, u own, u can even make Aww.Bob pek chek. Highlights include paul screaming ” fuck u all la, the sniper keep owning you all!” just before Erica Durance sniped and dominated him. Despite the struggles, heroics by Aww.Gary secured the last point for Aww.

Stopwatch

Ok stopwatch round, another exciting set of everyone’s favourite map – Dustbowl! So on with the pew pew pews and Invicta managed to cap 6 points in 16 mins+. This seemingly insurmountable task almost crushed Aww’s spirits but as Aww.Pauly learnt to shut up and calm down after repeated suanings by Aww.Gary, Aww found renewed drive! First map 2nd point proved to be the place of contest between Aww and Invicta as Aww had some problems capping it. However, Aww.Pauly having diverted his attention from whining to sniping, showed his status as THE BACKBONE by sniping 3 members of Invicta just as the rest capped it at 4mins+. Good job pauly! see, Less Whining More Winning! Maps 2 and 3 were finished off in clinical fashion by the Awws taking not more than 2 attacking waves to capture each point. Aww managed to unconvincingly scrape past Invicta with 1-2mins left on the stopwatch clock. Close!

Good job Aww! A bit close but well done nonetheless. We need to work on the CPs that has been giving us problems historically. Stage 1 CP2 and Stage 3 CP2 are our problem areas.

Notes : After the match, i went afk as the rest of Aww were discussing some top secret tactics ( I’m guessing) that we can utilize to WTFPWN in the next scrim. It ended up with them going to play Dota as I went to write this report before going to bed.

P.S : Pauly isn’t that bad la, just /ignore him if he gets on your nerves! no hard feelings babies, he only says what he says at the heat of the moment.

Less Whining, More Winning

Match – r4 + Invicta

Oh yea…another night of scrims..this time against 2 of our most matched teams, r4 and Invicta!

Lets see if i can remember my stuff correctly….

Match : r4

Maps : Granary , Gravelpit

Granary : 4-0 ( Win to Aww)

Game started with gary proclaiming that his demo doesn’t suck on granary…and finally prove his worth on granary by topping the scoreboard after the medic…Also, the match marks the first time Aww.Dennis was last on the scoreboard in granary and also gary’s first time he’s not last on granary.

Gravelpit : 6-2 (Win to Aww)

(Aww caps ABC, r4 caps A , aww successfully defends B)x2. r4 haven’t played in awhile and so were pretty rusty,but with their raw skills they were still able to give Aww a hard time. GG.

Match : Invicta

Maps : Gravelpit, Dustbowl

Gravelpit : 6-6 (overtime win goes to Aww by approx. 5-6 mins)

After taking a break of about 1hr+ after the r4 match, Aww proceeded with their 2nd match of the night against Invicta ! After having a long day, aww decided to have some fun, they decided to try out a radical new strategy with the line up consisting of : Heavy , Pyro, Demo , Medic , Sniper x 2. No soldiers! Things went well as Invicta seemed about stunned and didn’t know how to react to the joke lineup and Aww managed to cap rather smoothly, surprisingly. Defence wasn’t as good however as Invicta managed to cap the points without much resistance too, mainly because no one could go up to the B roof once they got there. Talk about air bombardment. Anyways, match went into overtime and Aww decided to revert to their original line-up and emerged winners in a close match. GG.

Dustbowl : 6-3

Aww caps ABC at a best time ever score at 20 mins+, and managed to successful defend Stage 2 Cap 2 successfully. Highlights include several DCs and Azareal receiving a call from the hospital midway resulting in multiple substitutions to the Aww line-up mid game. Aww managed to hold on for a 6-3 win at the end of the game.

Notes: JG debut as demoman went well despite Aww.Gary’s vehement protests.

 Gary before the match:” JG, you cannot play demo, scrim different from pub, you need more experience then I let you play ok?”

JG after the match : “My demo is better than gary.”

Gary after the match : ” sadface. i’m relegated to medic. sucks”

After the match we decided to go for supper as everyone was feeling hungry, so we had an impromptu 2am roti prata supper meeting(thx guys, i’m getting fat). Met azarael for the first time as he talked about dual-ports in cars and basically everything under the sun. Highlights of the meeting include Azarael mistaking me for Aww.Bob, reason being Aww.Chaoren sounds very senior and I don’t look too senior. Wtf man derrick, WTF. I’m 24 btw, the rest just looks too dam old.Meeting ended prematurely as my gf woke up and being the henpecked guy over here, had to scramble home  AND I’m glad I changed my nick, BABIESSS.

Aww’s First mini Outing

Match – Vco

Maps : Gravelpit & Granary

Ok, once again another night of the GGs.

Gravelpit : 6-5 (Win to V.co)

Ok pretty much the same here, with some pretty intense action from both sides. Highlights include Aww, capping C with 10 secs left(?) or something then V.co proceed with their onslaught. Then Aww turn to attack, capped A,B pretty quick with maybe 7mins left to break C..but V.co seemed resistant with their demoman planting stickies on top of point C, singlehandedly destroying our capping forces. Some pretty poor timing as we attempted our attack. As the clock ticks down to 0, score stands 3-5 to Aww, with V.co having to cap ABC next round to sieze victory. And they did. So pretty much gg all around.

Granary 4-2 (Win to V.co)

Oh yea….the map Granary which brought us joy just yesterday brought us grief this time round. Elwin from H2H took one of V.co’s slot as one of their member had to go. Emissirx took over from JG as the match began. Pretty close fights all round. V.co took an early lead, 2-0. Aww clawed back from the jaws of defeat, 2-2. V.co then went on to clinch victory 4-2 ! GGs all around.

Notes: Oh well…at least we are improving guys! lol

Instructions:  Unzip the demos to your Steam\steamapps\accountname\team fortress 2\TF folder then go to console, type playdemo <filename>.

Points to note : They are all POV demos of Aww.dennis (soldier). Exciting matches all around. First dem file ends at around 15 mins so u can stop there as nothing interesting will happen after, just waiting for dc’s to come back.

Hey guys, as we all know, the Gamesync TF2 League is coming up, BUT I have a problem and need to consult you guys. Would you all prefer it if we send in 2 teams or 1 team?

I’m not sure which one we should choose, as we currently have around 10+ active members, whom i’m sure all wanto play but it might not be possible if we send in only 1 team. On the other hand, if we send in 2 teams, our lineup will be diluted and we might not have enough people to substitute in the event that 1 member of the team might not be able to make it. Please PM me your opinions so i can come to a consensus! Thankz

Match – ICP

Score : Gravelpit 6-6 (Overtime win to Aww by 3-4 mins)

             Granary 4-3 ( Win to Aww)

Its the night of the GGs with Gravelpit and Granary as maps selected(nice joke hehe). 2nd attempt to scrim against ICP with our first scrim terminated halfway unfortunately due to unfortunate circumstances.

Gravelpit 6-6 ( Overtime win to Aww)

First map selected by Aww was gravelpit. Both teams were rather equivalent in terms of firepower and skill which resulted in intense battles over point B. ICP utilized heavy for both attack and defence to pretty good effect. The match was marred by several disconnects to medics on both sides and my computer hanged. Aww.Bob had to fall out due to his unstable internet connection and Aww.EmissirX came in to step into his shoes. Match was brought to overtime and Aww managed to hold on for a victory on Gravelpit.

Granary 4-3 (Win to Aww)

We then proceeded to the next map chosen by ICP, Granary! Aww changed their lineup to include the cookie cutter build of 2 scouts, 2 solly ,1 medic, 1 demo. With our OMGMYOFFENSIVEDEMOOWNS Aww.Gary having a history of not performing well on granary and ICP’s unblemished record on Granary, things don’t seem too well for Aww. Aww got off to a bright start however, with a few good fragging and capping first point goes to Aww. ICP won’t take this lying down and began their comeback almost immediately making the game 1-1 !! Things were getting heated on teamspeak with THE BACKBONE Aww.Pauly whining like never before. Aww clawed back rather miraculously to make it 2-1, ICP were no pushovers either! With their demo( 100% accuracy nade throwing skill) and their heavy ( dua leng kong) they pushed on to make the match tied again at 2-2 ! Then aww cap, 3-2. Then ICP cap 3-3.

OK!! finally we reach the end. Whoever caps this will win granary and carry home the trophy! Once again intense battles over all the points. Eventually things went Aww’s way as ICP is down to their last cp. Aww attacked the last cp in waves but ICP stood still like a rock. Then a moment of brilliance came courtesy of 1CHANCE Aww.Dennis ( me heheh), taking down 3 members on the last CP. Aww.Pauly then came in and kio saied and took the cap. GGs all around. 4-3 on Granary to Aww. Another epic intense battle as always. Somehow we always manage to squeeze that last drop whenever things come to stalemates 3-3 on Granary. Good jobs all !
